The completion of the work inside and out.
Early morning, Sunday 6th January. Half of the roof completed. A small team set about finishing the other half.

The main roof is finished. That was the easy bit! Now for the entrance portch.

Friday 25th January. Nearly there. Just the ridge tiles to be finished and barge boards to be fitted.
Looking good now! Imagine how it will look with the clock in place and the decking!

Late afternoon on Sunday 10th Feb. Ready for a second coat of paint and then for the decking.
Saturday 23rd Feb. The floors are swept ready for the self leveling compound.
Big Daz and Ash happily gave up their Saturday to lay the self leveling compound.

The finished floor. We just have to let it dry.
While we wait the square has the first cut of the season.
Kirby officially goes green as the CPCC (Chris Porter Compost Compound) receives its first grass clippings.
Monday 25th Feb. The floors are dry. Look at the space!

The outside painting is virtually finished, just needs a second coat on the windows and door.

Monday 3rd March. Painting is now complete. The door is open. Should we go inside?
A week after doing the floors Big Daz and Ash are back fitting the carpet. Ash spreads the adhesive.
Daz lays the carpet.
A few hours later. Job done. Fantastic!
While the carpet goes down in one changing room Paul is up to something. What is that? Could it be a dolls house or perhaps it's a private changing room for the 1st Team skipper!
The splendid new housing for the Colin Dixon Memorial Clock, kindly made by Wayne with left over timber from the pavilion.

Friday 7th March. Exactly two months since we started and the construction of the actual pavilion is finished. All that is left is the fitting of the seating inside and the decking outside.
April 6th and the decking appears.
