Dear Members,
We are delighted to announce that as of the 2023 season, our pavilion will now be known as 'The Paul Fletcher Pavillion'.
Many of you will be aware that Paul has recently retired from his duties at Kirby Muxloe Cricket Club, ending an association with the club that has lasted over 40 years.
One of the finest players to have represented the club, Paul was arguably the greatest fielder that the club has ever seen. He also held the highest score ever achieved by a KMCC player, proving his all round abilities as a cricketer and teammate.
In more recent years, Paul has shone as an outstanding volunteer and has received national and county recognition for his work as groundsman, treasurer and a range of other critical roles. A quiet and humble man, Paul is loved by all, and we will all be eternally grateful for his tireless and selfless contributions over the years.
We would be delighted if our current and ex-members would contribute towards a gift for both Paul and Morag.
